pathology, neuropathology and gastrointestinal pathology.
Dr Sophie Corbett-Burns completed her medical degree at Trinity
College, Dublin, during which time she was awarded a scholarship.
She graduated with Honours in 2007 and, after completing internship
in Dublin, she returned to Australia in 2009. Dr Corbett-Burns
completed her training in anatomical pathology at Royal Prince
Alfred Hospital and Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology, including a six
month rotation in neuropathology at Royal Prince Alfred, and three
month rotations to Concord Hospital and Glebe Morgue. She received
her fellowship from RCPA in 2016, at which time she commenced as a
consultant histopathologist at Douglass Hanly Moir. Her special
interests include gynaepathology, breast pathology, neuropathology
and gastrointestinal pathology.
